Initalization

If someone I admire can leave blogland, then come back when she changes her mind, then I can attempt to blog as well. I’ve been giving it some thought over time, and despite the fact that I don’t really think things are interesting enough to share, perhaps it doesn’t matter. After all, I would share them with my RL friends over the kitchen table, so why would I leave other friends out? Besides, there are times I want to post a comment and cannot, so this is a way around that.

Just a little background: I live in the middle of Alberta, Canada with my husband, two daughters (17 and 13) and Juanita the cat. For the most part things are pretty level currently and I have not had to threaten to buy a dog for the longest time now. (That is one of those family references - if I am mad at DH I will announce I am thinking of getting a dog - what it means is "DH has pissed me off so badly that I am going to do away with him, and while I am sure the kids will miss him, I'll get them a dog and they'll get over it").

Currently I am not working and am trying to adjust to a life style that I have not lived since I was 17 years old. And that was a very long time ago. I find myself compensating by cooking and baking since other than reading and TV, I was always busy and did not have a great many hobbies. Perhaps this may become a minor hobby - we will see.

Anyway, this is my inaugural post and welcome to Wandering in my mind.

Yay! I'm so glad you finally took the plunge! May I link you?

I would be honoured if you did Arkie. Thank you.

*jumps up & down giggling with joy*

Omigawd!!! Survey's here!!! I'm so glad!

*smooches*

I've missed you, Miss Sez!!!

Oh... I will link you too!

Yay!!!

Welcome to blogland! You can tell us anything, even if you don't think it is all that interesting, because most of us are pretty easily amused!

I've missed you too Nutz. And HD - I really want to say something sheepishly, but will restrain myself.

Welcome to blogland. You? make me laugh and I'm glad that you found your way here.

I was so happy to see, on Nutzy's blog, a link to YOUR NEW BLOG!!! Most of us started out feeling that we had nothing to say, and most of us still don't have anything to say :)

Anyway, this is so cool that you are blogging!!!

Found you!

I will link you and all the sort of new peeps one day! I can right?

Never worry about it not being interesting. Nutz once posted about bricks. Nothing could be worse than that.

If you had called it a maiden post Carey would have been here in no time flat.

Hello, Mizz Sez. I shall link you too, if that is ok.

And just a side note: when you go wandering in your mind you should always use the buddy system.

xxx ooo

I just delight in you.

LMAO Zombs! I forgot about that!

In case Miss Sez would like to brush up on her brick facts, she can see it here:

Today's Topic: Bricks!!!

Hi Survey! While I never did get to know you well over on OT, I delight in getting to know you now.

Welcome to our crazy, insane, sometimes silly, sometimes serious blogland!

Any and all links are fine with me. Thanks to all of you for the welcome.

And I think (most days) I will not have to resort to bricks. Though I am sure if I looked, I could find some brickbats.

Hello Sez (may I call you Sez?) I don't think I interacted with you much over in the other place. I was mostly AWOL before I left about a year ago. However, I will add my welcome to blogland!

I know nothing of bricks but I am fairly literate in tile and (at least lately) plumber's butt.

*waves* to Survey! I'm so thrilled to see you in blogland. *smooch*
