Initalization
If someone I admire can leave blogland, then come back when she changes her mind, then I can attempt to blog as well. I’ve been giving it some thought over time, and despite the fact that I don’t really think things are interesting enough to share, perhaps it doesn’t matter. After all, I would share them with my RL friends over the kitchen table, so why would I leave other friends out? Besides, there are times I want to post a comment and cannot, so this is a way around that.
Just a little background: I live in the middle of Alberta, Canada with my husband, two daughters (17 and 13) and Juanita the cat. For the most part things are pretty level currently and I have not had to threaten to buy a dog for the longest time now. (That is one of those family references - if I am mad at DH I will announce I am thinking of getting a dog - what it means is "DH has pissed me off so badly that I am going to do away with him, and while I am sure the kids will miss him, I'll get them a dog and they'll get over it").
Currently I am not working and am trying to adjust to a life style that I have not lived since I was 17 years old. And that was a very long time ago. I find myself compensating by cooking and baking since other than reading and TV, I was always busy and did not have a great many hobbies. Perhaps this may become a minor hobby - we will see.
Anyway, this is my inaugural post and welcome to Wandering in my mind.
Omigawd!!! Survey's here!!! I'm so glad!
*smooches*
I've missed you, Miss Sez!!!
Anyway, this is so cool that you are blogging!!!
I will link you and all the sort of new peeps one day! I can right?
Never worry about it not being interesting. Nutz once posted about bricks. Nothing could be worse than that.
Hello, Mizz Sez. I shall link you too, if that is ok.
And just a side note: when you go wandering in your mind you should always use the buddy system.
xxx ooo
I just delight in you.
In case Miss Sez would like to brush up on her brick facts, she can see it here:
Today's Topic: Bricks!!!
Welcome to our crazy, insane, sometimes silly, sometimes serious blogland!
And I think (most days) I will not have to resort to bricks. Though I am sure if I looked, I could find some brickbats.
I know nothing of bricks but I am fairly literate in tile and (at least lately) plumber's butt.
