Wednesday Hump Day
Yesterday was a very nice day, thank you for all the good wishes. Tonight DH will be bringing chinese food home for supper as he is on course in the city for a couple days. So until supper gets here, how about a little meme?
Would you rather:
1. have five years of pretty severe bad luck knowing you'd have relatively good luck for the rest of your life OR have your bad luck spread throughout your life?
2. mix everything you drink with sour cream OR squirt lemon juice on everything you ate?
3. cluck like a chicken whenever a phone rang OR lick your lips whenever somebody mentioned food?
4. only be able to hold your head straight up, as if looking at the sky OR only be able to look down towards your feet?
My responses?
1. Spread throughout - too much bad at one time would be just too much.
2. Lemon juice - at least it wouldn't sit in the bottom of the glass and curdle into a big lump.
3. Lick my lips - since I do already.
4. Look down - no telling what I might find, and if it rains my glasses won't be as wet as if I was staring up.

I thought I could chose among the four- at first anyway. I was going to pick three.
Also, I am just getting caught up in blogland (slowly) and I wanted to give you a big hug. I wish we could meet for a warm cup of tea tomorrow. We could sit by a big picture window, overlooking a busy steet, we would talk about matters of consequence and inconsequence and we would make fun of a lot of the passer byers....yep. That is how I would love to spend my day tomorrow.

1. I would take my five years bad luck and get it over with. Sweet.
2. I like lemon juice almost as much as lime juice, which I already squirt into a surprising amount of what I cook/eat.

Monsty-just think if you and Coco got the dream whip and the sour cream mixed up! What a horror!

I love chinese food. Haven't had it in over a year.
1. I think I would want the bad luck spread out. If it's going to be "severe" bad luck, having it 5 years in a row would be pretty hard to handle. And, the good luck is only "relatively" good luck. Not "awesome" good luck. Yep. I'd spread it out.
2. Sheesh. These are tough. I automatically want to go with the lemon but I'm just not sure that lemon would taste good on chocolate pudding. I do love sour cream but mixed in every drink? *shudder* No thanks. I'll go with the lemon.

I think there still would be a balance of sad. Just because you have good luck doesn't mean that there aren't sad times. And if the question was more "Would you go through 5 years of hell if you would be happy for the rest of your life after that?" I'd say yes, because I could look back at those 5 years and be happy with what I have now.
