Random Odds

Do you stop at the local attractions when you travel? We do, even if it's just to take a photo. I have snaps of the giant coffee pot at Davidson, Sask, and the geese statues at Hanna, Ab, all with a family member close by. We actually have so many of this type of pictures, so I will share the giant coke can in Portage la Prairie, Mb.

Another odd photo to share is the following one of deer. They are small deer that live in a park in Portage, and you can feed them. As the photo shows, they love their bread, and are eager for a bite.

My final sharing today is this site: The Kittycat Dance. It's foolish, but it makes me laugh and that's not a bad thing.

Comments:
Aww, love the deer! I always wish the ones I see would be bold like that, but they run the moment I see them.

I couldn't get the cat dance to open, or load or whatever, but I'll try again, later.

*smooch*

Oh, Have you visited the "World's Largest Truck"?

I have

We used to do this when I was growing up. I remember the giant artichocke and the giant dinosaur. Michelle and I don't do it though. Maybe we should.

The kitty dance is cute, except the crotch shots are a little scary.

Awww! Nolay never lets us stop & take pictures. We both love to travel, but like to travel a little differently.

Heh. Carey said "do it."

*giggle*

Whose Artie, and what is he choking?

Just were is this giant artichoke, anyway? I may have to put it on the list. We haven't been to the UFO lading pad in northern alberta yet, either.

We stop at random big things, like giant Paul Bunyons, and big Muskies. We also stop at historical markers fairly often. Learned lots of cool stuff that way.

Somewhere South of here on the East bank of the Mississippi there is the foundation of a little, like 12 x 16 ft fort where a couple of French soldiers once held all the land West of the river for France. Really.

It's somewhere in central California. But I can't remember where. It was soooo long ago.
