It's Quiet...Too Quiet

Older Dd is away from home a lot. With her friends, at her part time job, just bumming around. But my baby, younger DD is at home and filling the house with sound. So since we met the camp bus yesterday morning and I got the quickest goodbye in history as she ran to see her friends from prior years' camps, I am finding the house empty. No one is chasing the cat or grumbling about helping with dishes or switching the TV station on me. It's weird and things won't be normal until she comes home Saturday.

I'm a temporary quasi empty nester.

NAP TIME!!!!

Maybe you should go get a dog? *grin*

*runs through banging bongos*

Geez zombs. Your bongos are banging. Perhaps you need a sturdier bra?

It's quiet at my house too. But that's because GF and I haven't spoken to each other since Sunday. *sigh*

*hugs for Carey and Survey*

Quiet time is good. It is essential. It will drive you nuts by oh...about...NOW!

*smooch*

I always feel I need a break from them, but miss them too much when they are gone.

You probably have a million things you could do this week and you probably won't do any of them. The time will fly by.

I will send you my middle daughter, age 22. She's still here!

Carey, that makes me sad! *hugs*
