Bargain Day
Youngest Dd and I were in town yesterday, getting the few odds and ends she still needs for camp next week. At the local Fields store, they had DVDs for $1 each. They are new, just older movies that you don't see much. Anyway, I got three old westerns that don't show up much on TV for DH and for my self, I got His Girl Friday, They Call Me Trinity and Trinity is Still My Name. The Trinity movies are from the early 70s and are comedy westerns. I have not thought of them in years, and likely never would have, had I not seen them yesterday, but now that I have them, I will watch them with the girls and see if they hold up to memory. What the heck. Six bucks well wasted.
And I think the girls and I will be going to the RCMP Musical Ride on Saturday, if there are still tickets available. We will find out later today. I've been once before, and they really do put on a great precision riding show. I love the charge.

I remember seeing the Mounties precision riders at the CNE when I was a kid. They sure were terrific. I hope you can get tickets! Are your girls big horse fans? We also got to walk around the barns & see all their horses. Way fun!
I don't remember the Trinity westerns. The name, vaguely - but nothing about them. I don't like westerns now anyways...

Mouties are so cute.
Can Chris come over and watch those Trinity movies with you? Sounds like something he'd like. Me? I'll watch some carpy reality tv shows while he's gone.

So, what is the RCMP Musical Ride? I get that it's Mounties and horses, but what's the musical part?
lol Arkie - just like the synchronized swimmers do their routines to music, so do the mounties and their horses. Which makes it a musical ride.
Movies will start at 7 tomorrow night, so be early and bring snacks.
*smooches*
