You Might Be Canadian If
You know what a touque is.
You drive on a highway, not a freeway.
You have Canadian Tire money in your kitchen drawers.
Kraft dinner is a food group.
You participated in Participaction.
You have been on or know someone who was on pogey.
You know a two four means a party.
You added the missing U’s to non Canadian textbooks when you were a student.
And finally,
You understand the statement “Please pass me a serviette, I just spilled my poutine”.
But even if you’re not Canadian, have a good weekend, and spare a thought for us as we celebrate Canada Day.

I drive on a highway! Am I Canadian? Why is a party called a two four? What is a serviette? I need a new tire! Can I have some of the money from your kitchen drawer?
Happy Canada Day! *smooch*

I know what a touque is!
I drive on a highway!
The others? Not so much!
I think Freeways are only the California peeps.

Glow-a two four is a double size case of beer - a box of twenty four. A serviette is a paper napkin. And do you want all $25 canadian tire money I have on hand and d you have a canadian tire store handy? *Smooch*
Nookie-I? have never spilled my poutine.
zombie-but do you have a touque?
Nutz-you gave yourself away long ago by doing the macarena with a sombrero on.

O Canada
Our home and native land
Leads forth in beauty all the starry land
. . . um . . .
Cooooo-roo-coo-coo-coo-roo-coo-coo!
;-)
Happy Canada Dry, eh?

I always loved the list that says that "eh" pretty much means just about anything in Canada.
My father and grandparents are all Candian, BTW. But I'm still lost with the list, LOL!

I like vinegar on french fries. You can have your poutine & Canadian Tire money. Just give me a proper vinegar shaker!
It doesn't say Kraft Dinner on the boxes here in the States. It's just Kraft Macaroni & Cheese (I believe).
Seana's right about Canadian boxes. Big letters and it's called Kraft Dinner. Little letters on the bottom of the front of the box say macaroni and cheese.
