Today's Special
There has to be some significance in the fact that today is the third one. PET scan I mean. I will be injected by a nurse, cowaring behind a lead screen, with radio-active dye, rest for an hour while it spreads, then s-l-o-w-l-y run through a large tube for the scan. I figure since third time is a charm, then today is the day I get my super powers, just like Spiderman.
Imagine, a pink and blue super hero costume as I patrol Blogland for evil doers. Attentive, vigilant and alert while on patrol. What's that? What goes on here? My survey senses are tingling - oh wait, it was just my cell phone still on vibrate.

After fasting all day for the tests, and having a couple chicken fingers and a cheese bun on the drive home, I have apparently received the power to subdue evil doers with a gas attack.
Not quite the power I anticipated.
