Over the Weekend

I love, love, love the Sunday Paper. Big and stuffed with pull out sections and coloured comics and editorials. I sit at the table and read the whole paper front to back, enjoying the whole process. What could be better than this little weekly oasis of newsprint? Unless it is spending a couple hours out in the hammock in the sunshine. How to decide between the two? I didn’t. I had both.

Tomorrow will come quickly enough, and with it having to drive to the lake for the day. As I go through town I will try not to remember that if the lights are timed for 35 mph, then they are also times for 70 mph.

What a great weekend of lazing about. Hope your weekend is as enjoyable.

Comments:
I would love too sit out in a yard, on a hammock and read the paper front to back. Unfortunately, I read my paper online. And, I don't have a yard, or a hammock.

Here in Los Angeles, people read the newspaper while they are driving their cars.

Mmm...I did the same thing yesterday. I love the Sunday paper. I also love dozing outside. I don't have a hammock though. I was in the chaise lounge while the kids where on teh swingset.

Mmm...breezes. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I don't read the papers anymore but DH loves to on the weekends.

I've always wanted to lay in a hammock. I love napping outside. This is my dream. reality would be that I couldn't get myself on the hammock and I'd end up on the ground. Reality would also be, if I were to get on the hammock, I'd have bugs on me or some bird would crap on me.

I'm jealous. I want a hammock!

This is not a banana hammock you're talking about, is it? *wink*

Sounds divine! I want a hammock. We have enough friggin trees for one.

I also love reading the Sunday paper. I can take or leave the rest of the week, as I read the news online. But Sunday, it's a good excuse to sit & relax.

I hate the little half sheet ads the put on the side of our Sunday comics section. Totally turns me off from reading the comics.
