New Neighbour

A noisy little bugger has moved in
And stays in a shed covered with tin
He’ll sit and he’ll shout
And refuse to move out
You’d think he was one of my children

Comments:
Awwwwww, I vote that he stays.
Then come Christmas you can stuff him and place him on the table as a centerpiece.

Good idea! Or maybe the tree topper. I do believe I have a squirrel stuffer in residence - the bag of unshelled peanuts got low, very suddenly.

Is that a black squirrel? I don't see those here in Atlanta but do in Calgary and Ottawa.

We do think the little critter is a black squirrel but we don't know how he found us. We are in the middle of a cultivated area and this is the only one I have seen in 13 years. Where ever he came from, he seems to like our shelter belt and the shed.

I think squirrels are so cute. I tried to catch one once when I was a kid. I rigged up a box with some food inside it, propped it up with a ruler, tied some string to the ruler and waited to yank it. (not code.) I never did catch one, which is probably a good thing.

Nice poem! *giggle*

Too cute!

Hi Survey! I just found you! Welcome to blogging. *smooch*

Can I link you?

Awwwwwwww. Lucky! I love watching squirrels.

May I link you too? I am going to try to update my linkys today.

I like black and gray squirrels (they are both color variants of the same species) but I hate red squirrels with a passion! Red squirrels are just fluffy-tailed rats!
