Friday before a long weekend
I thought last week was the season end for Desperate Housewives, but now I see that it is a 2 hour ending this Sunday. Not out of things to watch yet!
I registered youngest DD for summer camp today, one both have gone to west of Calgary for the last few years, so that takes care of one week for her. Older DD is going to work this summer, so has decided to pass on camp this year. They enjoy camp and I enjoy their time away. As a child I only went to camp one year and, as an early developer, I spent a week trying to hide a bra that was not for training, but necessary, unlike the others in my cabin.
Cut a couple feet off the carragana hedge this morning, now lunch and then off to weed that stupid flower bed. If all goes well today, there won't bee too much to do over the long weekend except enjoy it. Yay!

Do you write letters to camp? Does she write back? What kind of job is your oldest going to have? Now she'll have her own spending money!
Puffy-Oldest has been working part time for over a year now. She started in a grocery store, but is now a hostess in a pizza chain. She bought her own first car (a little 94 chev cavalier that has more miles on it than a retired hooker, but keeps on running). With what she spends on clothes, I don't know how she managed to save that $500.
With canadian postal service, all letters would be delivered well after youngest gets home. We do interrupt her week to make her talk on the scheduled parent phone call.
